FUTURE PLANS
1. It has been observed by the trustees who have a long standing in the field of
service to the Humanity-Our Senior Citizens and Orphans are in a state of
neglect. The concept of unit family system, a recent trend in our society has
further added to their woes. Our senior citizens and Children need much more
attention and care at that very age. This is the time their bodies cannot carry
out their routine life actions.NISHKAM SEWA BHARTI TRUST has taken up this
challenging project to construct an Old age home cum Orphange. For this efforts
are going on at different stages to start this grand project. This project will
have residential accomodation, kitchen and dining rooms, library, indoor and
outdoor games facilities and a health centre.
2. Trust intend to extend the services rendered at its dispensary in Ranjit
Nagar,Jalandhar. We plan to extend the building, installation of an X-Ray unit
and provide Facilities for E.C.G.
3. We plan to convert this Dispensary to a full fledged multispeciality Hospital
with indoor.outdoor, Modern Laboratory and State of the art technology. This
will provide health care to the poor and sick at very nominal but affordable
charges.
4. The rural population of India is not getting proper medicine care and
education, the trust has plans to introduce a mobile van to cater the needs of
the rural population as for as possible at their doorsteps. This mobile van
fitted with all the necessary equipment and managed by a team of trained medical
professionals and paramedical staff will provide medical care to the needy.
5. The trustees feel a great need to start an institution for the physically
handicapped. We have already applied to Punjab Urban Development authority for
allotment of a plot of land in Jalandhar under their scheme. This institution
will serve the dire need of the handicapped including visually handicapped,
Hearing Handicapped, mentally challenged and physically disabled.
6. Trust is starting a charitable Physiotherapy unit in New Ashok Nagar, Basti
Shiekh Road, Near Shenai Palace, and Jalandhar. Building has been constructed
and equipment has been purchased (courtesy M/s Kapson Ind Ltd.Jalandhar). This
unit will start functioning soon in yr 2008. This will serve the patients from
all age groups having musculo-skeletal problems. Wax bath, knee & shoulder joint
exercises, ultrasound treatment are few of the highlights from this unit. This
unit will have a free dispensary with clinical laboratory and X-ray unit.
7. Food scarcity is very much prevalent all over the world. Hunger and
malnutrition are the major social and health problems. And there is lot of food
wasted in our celebrations, parties, marriages and other functions. An air
conditioned van will collect food from these functions with a toll free phone
number. This food will be refreshed and distributed the next morning to the
needy and starving population in charitable and non charitable organizations and
slums of and around the city. The trust is working in this direction and plans
are being formulated. This project is ‘‘FOOD FOR ALL’’ will serve food to the
